As an avid DIYer, I know the difference between good and bad products. This motorized blind is high quality. Everything from the fabric and housing quality to the ease of installation make this a great choice. Unfortunately, our primary reason for purchasing this was for privacy in the evening, as our deck opens up to community courts and gathering space. As it’s getting dark in the evening, and the lights are on in our kitchenfamily room, you can see everything in our home almost as clearly as if the shade were not in place. Also, my home is fully automated with Alexa control. I have two universal RF hubs (Bond Bridge Pro and Toyanc IRRF transmitter) for home automation, and for some reason, both accepted the programming frequency of the remote (433.92 MHz), but neither would transmit the right codes. I love this pergola! I had been debating one for years and finally found one with all the features I wanted. We dont have any trees so theres no natural covering, and the backyard gets blasted with sun during the day. This pergola is perfect for manually adjusting the 4 different sections of louvers for the amount of sun wanted. We havent used the curtains or netting yet but I love having the option when needed. We paid for assembly which occurred over 3 days and 3 different crews. Caution- I dont recommend using the included anchors for anchoring to your base, unless your base is absolutely perfectly level. This is a great pergola for the price! It was a lot to put together. One of the pieces got dented in the set up process but it’s minor. The louvred top is easy to adjust. I got this sun shade to replace an old one that was worn out. This Sun shade seems to be made well and Im impressed with the hardware hooks and cables that look really strong for when its windy.
