Assembly wasn't an easy task, even for the professional I hired. It was necessary to uninstall it and reinstall it to get the glass positioned correctly because only one side of the glass is treated to avoid water spots. This is a high quality shower door and very attractive. The doors roll smoothly and silently on the rail and the bottom rail is designed to be cleaned easily. These shower doors are amazing! My husband sent me on a mission to find two sets of shower doors for our new home because he doesn't like shower curtains. The are heavy duty, beautiful and though they take some time they are relatively simple to install (if you are good at that sort of thing, which my husband is). Well I have ordered more than 3 of this kind of sliding doors in the past and this one in particular has the security guard to close the doors properly.
