The instructions have you build this from the top down which seemed weird. But the instructions were clear for the most part, and they even tell you how many extra hardware pieces you should have when finished. Update one of the handles was put on upside down so it was an easy fix. The lid will actually be raised when you raise the TV and will be lowered when you lower the TV. I have therefore raised my rating to five stars. The TV stand serves the purpose. The mechanism to raise and lower the TV works well. However, the hardware was put on crooked and the hinges for raising the top theme with somewhat dangerous. I’m not sure I see the point of using Alexa to raise your TV when you have to stand up and raise the lid manually. It would be much better if there was someway to remotely lift and lower the lid. Looks great. Easy to assemble. I was a little concerned on delivery because the box was pretty damaged but they had it well protected inside so nothing damaged in shipment.
