Putting the main structure together was surprisingly straightforward. The instructions were clear. All parts ugh and hardware were clearly labeled. Two people can handle most of the build without issue. The only major hurdle was mounting the cabinet doors. Aligning the hinges took a lot of patience and fine-tuning. Getting them to hang straight and close smoothly required trial and error. A second pair of hands is highly recommended for this specific step. It's a nice cabinet and heavy, but not solid oak as we had thought. It's an oak veneer and not all oak veneer in some spots so if you get unfinished staining doesn't work very well, so we had to paint ours. I am giving this piece a 4 star based on the view at a slight distance once it’s complete and in place. It wasn’t super complicated to put together, but I found that it didn’t feel as “high end” as it should have based on the listing photos and description. The door on the front right was not able to lay flush and the close properly. For these reasons I couldn’t give a 5 star. For the size and storage it is nice and I do like the piece feels secure. It also comes with the pieces to attach the unit to the wall for security. The overall look is nice, it just has a few flaws in the wood pieces and finally piece that give me pause to give 5 stars. Over the moon happy with this tv stand for so many reasons. First and foremost. MADE IN THE USA! I chose the cherry stand and it was built custom for me, in Kentucky 1/15/21 (written with pencil on the back). The quality is excellent and fits in with the traditional furniture including antiques. I removed the two side doors as I wanted more display. I changed the knobs to ones I purchased. So the custom made became even more custom. I love it!
