I had a ge microwave already. This was basically the newest version. Be careful. The mount bracket is a little different and the top screws are in a different spot. It came with nice paper templates that showed you exactly where to mount and drill. Me and a friend installed it in 45 minutes. Works great. No fluff solid ge appliance. I’m happy. James. Very tight tolerances, to install, but absolutely stunning. We have taken one star off because the water pressure on the bidet is not as strong as we are used to, but it still does the job. I was in need of a microwave to replace one I had for years and quit on me. At first, I was skeptical because I never knew Faberware made microwaves but it was offered at a fair price so I took a chance. It is more powerful, by surprise, than my old one which was 1000 watts. Even though it is smaller, I can still fit a large plate with room to spare. My only complaint thus far is the popcorn setting. This is the quick set button on top of the panel. Bought this unit as a (very comparable) replacement for a Panasonic NN-T994SF that was purchased in January of 2005. Yes, after 21 yrs of constant use, that old unit finally gave out. Kudos to Panasonic on the quality and longevity of the unit that we replaced!! As to the new unit, we are very pleased. Well-built and cooks well. A big plus for us is that the unit is just under 24" wide (most other brands are slightly wider). Since we have a 24" wide alcove the oven sits in, perfect. I would tend to agree with the other reviewer who commented on the interior light being somewhat dim - maybe a 2nd light on the other side of the oven might have been nice.
