This rug is beautiful. It is very thick and great quality and fits in perfectly with my decor. I only gave it 4 stars due to the fact that it is quite a bit darker than shown in the website pictures. The background is not ivory, its more of a khaki color. It works for me but I would have liked a lighter background. I did read previous reviews about that issue but took a chance. UPDATE: I have had the area rug since last spring. It is the worst rug!!! It will absolutely NOT lay flat!!! I have tried EVERYTHING and as soon as I remove the heavy weights or turn it over in less than a day it is buckling up again! Wish I knew this before the window to return ran out.
