This rug is absolutely beautiful in person. The colors are soft but rich, and the floral pattern has a timeless, elegant feel that really stands out without being overwhelming. I like the efficiency and endless supply of hot water. Like other hot water products the only negative is waiting for the water line to clear of cold water to clear before getting hot water. This happens for any system unless a homeowner adds a recirculation pump with a timer etc. Those additions with the extra cost are to me not worth it. This rug is absolute genius. The base is a combination of sisal and soft polyester. The whole rug is actually printed with the pattern. The final impression is of an antique rug, with muted hues and a lived in feel that I haven’t found in any other mass produced floor covering.
