This thing is heavy duty, had some installation issues as the bolt pattern was a little different than the unit i replaced. The instructions don't mention what all the hardware is for but I recommend getting an extra long screw extension and some screws with washer built in. The angle brackets they included for what i assume is a cabinetless setup came in handy to hold it up while I got the top screws in. Its quite heavy compared to old unit needed to reinforce cabinet to hold the weight. Also cut off the plug to do a direct wire install. Performance is very good so far and not very loud. The only think I am not crazy about is the bright halogen lights, they should be further back so it illuminates whole stove more than your eyes. Overall this is a solid unit in its price range and I can finally put battery back in my smoke detector. I’ve had this BRANO 30-inch range hood installed in my kitchen for a little while now, and it’s a massive upgrade! The 900 CFM motor is an absolute beast. It clears out heavy smoke, steam, and cooking odors in mere seconds. Even with that incredible power, it stays surprisingly quiet on the lower settings. The triple controls are easily the best feature. The gesture controls (waving your hand) are super responsive and a lifesaver when my hands are covered in grease or raw ingredients. I also love the hands-free voice command when I'm busy at the stovetop. Installation was straightforward, and the brushed stainless steel looks incredibly sleek and gives my kitchen a high-end, modern feel.
