I had a hard time finding a gold finish to match my existing plumbing’s gold finish from the 1990s, but this was a pretty good match. I would describe this gold tone as a slightly muted gold, softer, not so shiny and yellow as my 1990s existing plumbing. Anyway, it worked for my aesthetic and the functionality is great. The header bar is solid and heavy, it has some sort of finish on it, but not sure how that will hold up with wear from the rollers. The bottom rail is supposed to be held down by the center piece, but it doesn’t slot in and hold it properly, it just slips in and out of it. The only thing that will keep it in place is the caulk, and there is only so much caulk you can apply. Overall, very pleased with these doors, they look great.. Susan. MD. Mon Jan 12 2026
