Installing this in a dry-walled garage, for instance, will take some doing including cutting away drywall and add 2x4 supports. The gable can be any symmetrical shape, but the triangle is among the most common. Other vent shapes include rectangles, steeples, circles, and octagons. Gable vents are fitted with horizontal ventilation slats called louvers. You can add a mesh screen to be placed behind the vent. [This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I was given this product free from Influenster for my honest opinion. The product came out of the tube easily, which I like. I've had others that are very hard to get out of the tube, even using a caulking gun. So that's a plus. Next, it's a very smooth product that came out of the tube without skipping. It also dried quickly, which is a plus when you're on a time crunch and need to get done fast. All in all, it's a great product. The smell, of course, was bad, but usually is with sealant.
