I purchased the Shark FlexBreeze fan in 2024 with my own money, and it has exceeded my expectations. My husband had gone through three fans in 10 years, and shortly after I bought this fan (for myself), fan #3 quit working. He ended up taking over my FlexBreeze, and despite being skeptical at first because it was much smaller and a little bit quieter than his previous fans, he quickly became a huge fan of it (pun intended)! Do not let the size of this fan fool you, it provides excellent airflow and is surprisingly powerful. The stand offers more flexibility than the pedestal fans we grew up with, allowing you tilt the head in just the right direction. The heavy base also keeps it stable, which is important in our house with dogs running around. The standout feature for us is the built-in battery. We live in a rural area where power outages happen, and we are pretty dependent on having our fan on to sleep. The battery allows the fan to run on a low to medium setting, giving us enough airflow and white noise to comfortably fall asleep. It has seriously been a lifesaver for us. Another feature I really like is its versatility. The fan can be removed from its base and be used as a smaller portable fan, making it easy to pack for vacations and trips so you don’t have to sleep without your fan. Our model came with the CoolMist attachment and a car charger. This fan also features a remote. While we have not used the misting feature or car charger yet, I do appreciate those options. We also do not use the remote very often, but it is nice to have when needed. My husband works swing shift, so this fan gets a lot of use since we both sleep with it. The previous fans we purchased were much cheaper, so I wanted to see how well this held up before reviewing it. After almost 2 years of heavy use, it is still working great. At some point, we actually plan to purchase another one for our son, and I would also like one for myself again… or maybe convince my husband to give mine back! I picked this color specifically for me, after all, which I adore. We own many Shark/Ninja products and have consistently had great experiences with them, and this fan is no exception. I have never had a batch disposal before. I have always had the traditional ones that require a switch to turn on. The only real issue (and its not much of one) is with how our sink is in the kitchen island there isn't a good spot to set the plunger when not in use other than in the sink itself. It is powerful and I am really happy how well it does its job. There is no flap that covers the opening to the drain like on traditional disposals. I thought this would be an issue having it open and silverware falling in. With our drain off to the right it really has not been a problem. Although I did have a fork fall into it the fact that the disposals "neck" between the sink and the bottom is long so the fork never fully fell into the disposal it just stood straight up. Also not having that flap covering the disposal makes it much easier to see at a glance if anything has made its way in that should be there. It is noisy but not bad, just as I expected as from traditional. I like the safety of it not turning on unless the plunger is in. We have young kiddos. Just makes me feel better.
