It is like a spotlight....shines directly downward and does not emit any light to the sides so basically we just have one spotlight in the middle of our room. Beautiful. I’ve been patiently waiting for someone to do the install for me, however it was worth the wait. I had been looking for sometime for a fan that would be large and also more up to date the the one I previously had. This was the perfect choice. Installation was fast , and much easier than expected, most importantly the price for the quality was unreal. The weight of just the blades alone was shocking , That very much reflects on the quality the blades also the light fixture is large offering an adequate amount of light. The color I chose is very versatile and would look nice with any ceiling and wall colors as well as room decor. There are several other colors to choose from . Wayfair products have always been above standard not only compared to online stores but also retail chains .
