This chair is very comfortable and a delight. Assembly really requires prior experience with schematics and understanding basic aspects of hardware. However, as the pics show, the upper/seat section is out of alignment with the lower/base portion; it's pushed to one side. That results in the upper frame knocking against the rear black glide "dog bone" part. I don't understand what would cause this skewing. I kept all fasteners not-tight until everything was assembled. Fortunately the knocking only occurs if I glide far enough forward, which is actually beyond my typical glide length. But I have to take a star away because of this.. Bart. Boulder, CO. I am really pleased with these glider chairs. They are very comfortable for both my tall husband and petite me. Like other reviewers mentioned, they are a bit challenging to assemble, but worth the effort. It was very important to me to not have any furniture leaving rust stains on my porch, like my last set.
