I was intimidated to install it myself but I took it on and it was easy. You will need a straight screw driver, adjustable wrench and teflon tape. Then just follow the easy to read instructions. It literally took me 15 minutes. I absolutely love it. The clean you feel is refreshing. Just remember that the water will be colder in the winter due to the supply lines being cold.
