This is a beautiful machine. Sleek, shiny and solid. I haven't found the batteries for it yet. Still unpacking from a house move, and where oh where could they be? But the mechanism works manually with ease. I'm sure it's going to work great once it's powered. And I love the size of it. Less trips to the trash can outside. Also, very simple to put together. Looks pretty good and was very easy to set up. Doesn’t come with batteries, that was a bit annoying. Reasons for not giving a 5 it’s not as smart as other trash cans I’ve used where if you open it and it senses that you’re still emptying something, it will stay open. This one just closes after the number of seconds, on top of your hands. You can keep it open but you have to push the Open thing and then it doesn’t close automatically, you have to push Close to close it.
