Higher CRI ratings indicate how natural the colors look under the light. This product has a high CRI index of 90. That was a critical factor, because, many manufacturers do not list that specifications likely because of lower ratings, which result in less than desirable color accuracy. Hand-carding requires skill and attention, and we use a kilim-style weave to show off the yarn's natural texture. A blend of New Zealand wool and European wool creates a natural abrash effect from cream to beige to brown. The touch of color comes in from its cotton warp, shining through the wool weft around the edges and fringe, like a frame or a Halo.

Pretty rug and well made. Be aware there may be dark (almost black) threads and fibers in the weave that stand out in some places. If that will bother you, this would not be a good choice.
