Very hard to find narrow base brackets that allow hook part to rotate. This is the one! We used them vertically to put curtains in closet door frame (no more sliding doors for us. This non-standard installation required some modification - basically drilling into the hook part so the screw can carry the modest weight of rod and curtain. Fortunately, the hook is solid metal, not hollow and was able to accept the screw and carry the weight. This is the second time we purchased these brackets for a vertical install for a closet door curtain. It is still a beautiful chrome mirror shine, however fingerprints are easily seen. The space for the toilet paper rolls is a little smaller and may not fit double rolls. The adhesive is strong and can hold spray cans and potty spray. I will recommend this in a bathroom without small dirty hands. You will be polishing it often. The package arrived damaged so consequently this beautiful chrome toilet paper holder was damaged. All of the hardware came to assemble which included the adhesive for the no drill option. The finish was absolutely gorgeous! I had ordered chrome out of the other finishes, the finish appeared to be mirror. I guess it’s their version of chrome. I’ve holder is heavy and I would be curious to know if the adhesive that came with it to mount will be able to hold up on the wall with toilet paper and anything that will be seated on the top table.
