I’ve got a fairly long and steep concrete driveway that is starting to show its age a little bit. There has been some minor cracking from the freeze-thaw cycle each winter. I decided to try the Armour SX5000 water-based sealant to see if it would improve the situation. I have delayed writing this review for a bit as I wanted to driveway to go through at least one winter season. I first pressure washed the entire driveway surface which is pretty time consuming. I then applied the Armour sealant with a manual pump sprayer. This part went fairly quickly. The trick is to get the sealant covering the driveway well, but not so much as to create puddles that aren’t absorbed. I made sure there was no rain in the forecast for a couple of days. Initially, I did half of the driveway first and the first day that it rained the difference on the two sides was very noticeable. Water on the coated side was beading and running off and on the other side it was being absorbed into the concrete. Have look at facet, seems high quality for price but could be heavier. I will install later as soon as I lay butcher block counter tops I purchase from Wayfair... I already ordered an after market soap dispenser to replace one that came with this facet. The one I order can access with a long tube a whole jug of dawn soap (or the like) and this is convenient because changing the little container on facet I ordered all the time is a real pain because it is at back of sink in very very hard place to access...
