One strong person who’s handy could install alone, but 2 people is good advice mostly to ensure being careful. Each panel weighs about 35 pounds. The hanging hardware provided, which we installed in drywall, is completely adequate to hang securely. I shopped around and wanted to pay less, but I was only coming up with options that looked inferior. I bit the bullet and decided to purchase these and am happy I took the crowbar to my wallet! I needed some gym flooring for my home gym that is getting slowly put together. These went on sale and are the perfect fit. They ship wrapped and sealed well, have a slightly rubber smell that isnt going to overwhelm you while they air out, and feel great under your feet. The edges piece together nicely however you may have to lift the edge near the corner to lay 2 together so it does press the other down. Again this is not a big deal. Finally putting the floor together is simple, Line up the edges and step, slap, stomp, or use a rubber mallot to get the edges to fit together. A product and wayfair shipped super fast.
