I didn’t like seeing that through the glass so I used black stock card behind the glass doors and that did the trick. I am considering changing the knobs to something more primitive. Everything was labeled VERY well and instructions were easy to follow (my only complaint was that in 2 sections it makes a point to say particular holes are “facing out”, but the illustration has them facing in). I like many of the features of this desk that make it utilitarian--sufficient drawer space, a handy book shelf and the width allows for adequate workspace. I have come to realize, howevr, that the depth of the desk is too shallow for my long arms to comfortably work on my laptop for any real length of time.
