[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This was fun to use, but the booklet is weird. The formatting is inconsistent and recipe amounts are not standardized. Sometimes it gives measurements in cups, sometimes, in grams, and sometimes in mL. It also sometimes explains how to make components, like simple syrup, but sometimes doesn’t, like water sugar. Overall the product seems good, but the instruction booklet left much to be desired. We made the mango sherbet but with strawberries instead of mang, and it was delicious but hard to scrape out of the container because the edges froze more than the middle. The gas range is very powerful, the iron grill is sturdy and offers a flat top (no pot or pan wiggling!) for the entire range. This feature is helpful in a small kitchen with limited counter space. Other reviewers are correct when saying the temperature dial needs to be set above the needed temp to get a correct preheat. Remedy with a hanging oven thermometer. Do not, I repeat, Do not get the ‘GE Installation’ service with this appliance. Even if you buy an installation kit. The technician will come in, excuse in hand, and will tell you that any dust, or light green on the gas pipe disallows them to service the installation. (When plumbers test for gas leaks upon installation they spray a little water on the line, leading to a light green) Be ready with your own plumber on the day of delivery. This review is on the delivery experience not the machine. The delivery team was polite, but the experience was extremely frustrating and disappointing. It took roughly 1.5 hours to install a washer and pedestal because they were not familiar with how the pedestal installs. Despite clear issues during setup and their reluctance to take guidance, I ultimately had to determine the correct installation steps myself just to get the job finished. After they left, the washer repeatedly threw an error, which took additional time to troubleshoot only to discover that they had failed to turn the water supply valves on. This added to an already unnecessarily long and difficult process. To make matters worse, their driving on the property was reckless. They drove at an unsafe speed on the driveway and nearly caused a head-on collision with a vehicle exiting the property.
