We were looking for something with more of a vertical footprint to make space in our bedroom and this was just right, size-wise. It looks great too, and it's nice to have real wood. Assembly took quite a bit of time, especially since there weren't predrilled holes for a lot of the screws, but it all came together. As others noted, it's good to be aware that the back panel is unfinished, so this dresser must be set up against a wall (which is necessary for safety anyway, with a secure fastener included). However you just have to know how to put things together. -some of pre-drilled holes might be just a little bit off but common sense you line everything up. -Such as specifically the black tracks; line to the edge of the wood (do them all the same as the last) If for any reason, your drawers didn’t sit on the tracks and fit in correctly, there is a way to fix it - just go back and check your work. Just built it solo. It took me a pretty long time. More than 4 hours but I wasn’t in a particular rush. It’s not too difficult or too heavy for one person. Just sort of labor intensive. It was VERY heavy upon delivery and bringing it up into my unit was hard. Definitely a team lift package but can be built alone without much issue. This is an incredibly solid dresser. Very heavy, nice quality, well made. Like the color of the wood, nice size, and like that it sits on the floor. Lots of drawers, 9, but each somewhat small. I really like the look of the drawer pulls, but they are not very good quality, thin and cheap. Like the top material, just not a big fan of the color, wish it was more neutral.
