I waited until the first severe windstorm to see how it held up before writing this review. It did great! I have it bolted directly into my porch, mind you. As others have stated, assembling this is a trip to the 7th circle of hell. It took me and two other people 5 days to put this together. The instructions are very poor, things not labelled properly, some steps are backwards, some of the pieces just don't fit together quite right, you'll get part way through and then realize you put something on upside down without realising it (because it's not labelled) and then have to backtrack several steps, and so on. The wood looks great but I’m wondering if I will have to apply a protective coat over it for extra precaution. I am currently finishing up our paver foundation so haven’t quite got it up yet but it will be completed this weekend and my experience will be updated to reflect the final outcome. First of all very difficult to read instructions. It came instead of being black with clear polycarbonate or came as green supports with white poly. Whole structure is very flimsy and even with it all together still not very sturdy. Took me 20 hours over 5 days to finally get it together.
