I'm a 6'1" 240lb man (athletic), and it isn't remotely "too small" as some have said, so adjust your expectations for your body type. The cushion is firm, but comfortable in my opinion. I just got it, haven't used it much, but it's great! I need to elevate my leg due to a knee surgery and I wanted to give this chair a try because of the foot rest. I thought the foot rest would maybe not go far enough to be able to extend my leg well, but it did! Is the right distance to elevate a leg, it's a comfy chair, you can adjust armerst, heigh of the chair, and position of the head rest. Also, when I fold it, it fits perfectly below my desk.
