This took about an hour and 30 minutes to put together. I’d recommend having a second person hold it while you put it together. The door is semi heave when it’s open which can cause it to fall on you while you are putting it together. Definitely recommend anchoring it to the wall as well. It came a little damaged but it was just cosmetic. Once it was put together the door wouldn’t close. I had to mess with the hinges a bit with a screw driver to get it to fix. I was pleasantly surprised by the quality of this gun safe for the price. Assembly took a little time, but the instructions were straightforward and everything fit together well. Once assembled and anchored to the wall, it feels sturdy and secure. The adjustable shelving makes it easy to customize the interior, and I like having the pistol pockets on the door to keep handguns and accessories organized. The keypad works well, and having backup keys gives us a little extra peace of mind.
