This patio lock is made well. I wish I could install it, but my new apartment complex will not allow me to drill into the frame. I will be giving this to my sister to use on her patio door. I will say it is very well made. The locking peg is sturdy and long, so it will secure the door when I stalled. This handle is a gray internal style latching patio door handle found on Viking, as well as numerous other patio door manufacturers. A common internal style latch; the handle body is diecast steel with a wood handle attached. Included is a matching keyed outside handle and keeper. When the latch is installed into the door frame through an inside access hole, the connected lever is held in place by a flat spring as it operates the latch up and down to engage the keeper.

Has keys supposed to be able to put a lock set in it and lock the door the outside handle does not have a hole in it to put the lock set so it is absolutely useless to use if you want to lock the door but keys did come with it that fit the lock just can’t put the lock in. This double cylinder deadlock is constructed of diecast and it comes in a chrome plated finish. It features a jimmy-resistant design which prohibits forced entry when attempts are made to spread the door away from the frame.

Years ago, we installed a hunter green door with a digital lock in Texas, and it was fantastic. However, we eventually had to replace the digital lock. Unfortunately, the company shifted to high-volume production and now only offers key locks. Aside from that, it's a sturdy door. We also had the option of etched glass, but they decided to stick with standard glass instead, limiting our choices. It's disappointing!
