Have already used this to break up the compacted clay layer about 6 inches down in my backyard garden that not even the gas-powered tiller could break. Product is substantial and will clearly last. This has worked well for us. Way to out together and produces a great compost. One thing to note is that the compost can rest on the bottom ledge inside which can make it difficult to open the doors. This is a cute item, for sure, but the price is too high for the level of quality. Silo top was misshapen and would not attach without adjustments, and the holes in the legs were not large enough to allow the bolts to pass through for assembly. I ended up needing to drill larger holes on each leg or there would have been no way to actually attach them.
