As we were missing a few inches to the ceiling with the included chimney component, we ordered the longer version directly from the manufacturer. Including a picture of the range hood after install, and a second picture after painting. Our only issue with the product is that it “whistles” at its lower speeds and due to slightly inconsistent suction, the metal grills were vibrating against the lower horizontal frame. I love this hood. I couldn't find a black one in local stores, so I was happy to find this one. When it first arrived it was dented, but the manufacturer replaced it. Our contractor vented it outside the house. He had to put some trim at the top to cover the holes, but it looks great!
