This was a breeze to apply. Simply shook the container to mix the contents and then applied with a paint roller. Avoided work during direct sunlight hours. Re-applied until the container was empty. Bought to let my Cat in and out of my Outdoor Gazebo but not let the neighborhood Cats or the Raccoon that visits in to eat her Food or enjoy the Heat that I provide her. My only concern was range of the remote, which was not an issue, even at a sharp angle from my bedroom window at roughly 22 feet, so I was pleasantly surprised. I prefer this to a Pet Door because of the Remote option. She did not like pushing through the pet door that I first installed, and this was a great solution at a reasonable price. I also bought a Pressure Sensitive Mat that Chimes when she is inside and approaches the door so that I know when she wants to go out. Looks well made and sturdy. The mat has been permanently dyed for moderate traffic and can be placed inside or out (only under a covered space). Durable and fade resistant. This door works great! Easy to operate. Unfortunately, we had to pay to have it professionally installed. The extender piece (which connects the interior to the exterior of the house was too short and there was a fair bit of caulking required, but otherwise, it is a great buy and I would order it again!.
