This drop plate is compatible with for all models of Global Door Controls TC200 and TC2200 series of door closers. It's used on top jamb mounts that have limited overhead clearance and suits doors with narrow top door frames or glass, when the glass interferes with closer mounting. Moreover, it can be used on a regular arm to clear a mortised stop or holder and to lower a door closer up to 1-1/2 in. It often matches with metal framed glass store front doors.
