This model of Global Door Controls is considered as a plain bearing single acting spring hinge. It's highly recommended for use on commercial and residential door applications. Moreover, it's advised for use where automatic self-closing of a door is required. The knuckle hinge is adjustable, and the spring tension can be increased or decreased by using adjusting tool included. For maximum versatility use three spring hinges on required opening. Full spring tension may not be required on all hinges but allows for greater adjustment. This type sized 4.5 x 4 in. comes with a squared radius in its corner, bundled with a fixed pin.

The Global Door Controls TC411 series have a full selection of accessories to accommodate the requirements of any door application. This series meet the performance standards of Grade 1 and ADA compliant door closers. Items are highly recommended for commercial applications, especially when there's a modern new renovation. They're constructed from solid aluminum for more strength and durability. Moreover, the spring tension is adjustable and comes in sizes 1-4. Was a bit unsure if this door holder would be suitable for my needs, but was pleasantly surprised. There is enough resistance from the magnet to hold the door open and have a little resistance when closing, but not enough to make it hard to close the door. It does make a clicking noise when the door swings open, but it doesn’t bother me. I did opt to use my own double sided tape instead of the screws on the floor piece which has worked well. The low profile is a nice feature and works well with our robot vacuum. I wish the catch on the floor was the same color as the rest of the door holder, but overall it doesn’t bother me.. Amanda. This is the perfect solution for an entry door that butts up to a closet door-I didn't want to worry about the entry door opening too much and banging onto the closet door but couldn't have a door stop on the floor because that would impede opening the closet door. I could not find the 28 inch wide option anywhere but here! We have double doors and the right side is max 28 inches. Came packaged really well! They were wrapped and then taped to a wood board and then wrapped in thick cardboard. No dents or bends!!! (I was worried about shipping!). I got the peel and stick option because we were not sure how well we would be able to drill into our 1960's doors. Wanted kick plates because the very bottom of the old wood doors is starting to weather. My only complaint is that the mounting tape goes across the back in three strips (from end to end) and the tape goes up to the edge so it's kind of visible. I didn't try to peel it back before mounting because I did not want to dent or bend the plate. I doubt many people would even notice, but things like that tend to stand out to me. I'm going to try to push it back/tuck it in a little with a small screwdriver or knife or something....if it does bother me that much. Mounting was super simple btw!!!! And it's holding well.. Beth.
