If I want to keep my roast going low and slow and pop in some rolls or cookies I can. One downside is that the knobs have little ridges around the entire side and are a pain to clean. Also the electric plug is not flush mounted like most large appliances, it goes straight back. This forces the stove to be out even further than anticipated.
