The range hood came well packaged and the assembly instructions were easy to follow. As we were missing a few inches to the ceiling with the included chimney component, we ordered the longer version directly from the manufacturer. Including a picture of the range hood after install, and a second picture after painting. Our only issue with the product is that it “whistles” at its lower speeds and due to slightly inconsistent suction, the metal grills were vibrating against the lower horizontal frame. We ordered this Zephyr duct cover from Wayfair, unfortunately the main panel (30”) arrived with some small dentsdings, crimpedbuckled edges and a very light digital imprint that could not be removed. I called Zephyr to ask if they would send a replacement. Without any hesitation and at no charge, Zephyr’s service rep (Brian) sent a whole new replacement. This hood is quiet, has four exhaust settings, a timer and two adjustable led lights. We needed it to vent out the wall and it was an easy job for our contractor. We have never purchased this brand but are impressed with the exhaust options and styles they offered. This adjustable 2 piece extension kit will allow for ZLINE Wall Mount Range Hood mounting on 10 ft. to 12 ft. ceilings. Two 36 in. tall telescoping chimney pieces will replace the 2 standard 16 in. chimney pieces (supplied with your ZLINE Wall Mount Range Hood) to allow for mounting on 10 ft. to 12 ft. ceilings. Pieces adjust between 37 in. to 71 in. Brushed stainless steel finish will match your range hood and add a sleek, elegant look to your home.
