This collection was Alessi's only model of cutlery. Despite the grim prospects forwarded by those in the sector, the collection proves that its innovative shape and resolute style, along with extreme manageability and an excellent finish, can weather the storm. The photo for what was ordered shows a setting of 2 forks, 2 spoons, and a knife. A 5 piece setting for $315.00 which fits since a single piece can be purchased elsewhere for about $60.00. So we ordered 2 sets for $630.00. What we found out is that it was not for a full setting but just one teaspoon. $630.00 for 2 silver teaspoons. Absolutely ridiculous! The Royal Danish silver "place" spoon I ordered came today; it is exactly what I wanted! Earlier I returned a "table" spoon, which actually was a serving spoon. In any case, I was most impressed with how efficiently and easily Wayfair made this whole process. Thank you very much. That said, however, I must tell you that both I and my husband are retired and living in a retirement community. Consequently, we are trying to give away our possessions, not acquire more.
