People are coo-coo.  This is a BEST of filter.  It is so accurate if smells enter room, smoke or cooking.  It auto ups the fan and even goes into a night mode one it senses lower lighting and no movement so that you can sleep without turning off the light as it is cool that when blue all good, yellow higher sensitivity and red it is kicking into high gear.  I love this machine!  I’ve bought 4 of them.. I received my Dyson Air Purifier/ Humidifier as a tenure gift from my employer. I’ve had it about 7 weeks and very happy with my selection.
