Assembly took four people about 6–8 hours to complete, so plan accordingly. One helpful tip: each roof panel has a thin protective plastic film that needs to be removed before installation. I believe it’s there to prevent scratches during shipping. We found that letting the panels sit in the sun for a bit made the film much easier to peel off. Overall, this gazebo is sturdy, attractive, and an excellent value for the money. I would absolutely buy it again and highly recommend it to anyone considering it. Have it up for the second season. Good quality but should be made stronger where poles are attached. Had to put gorilla tape over the tares. update - this past summer it tore so much it has to be replaced. Someone should design these with stronger fabric. Update july 2024. The pergola is a good purchase. Especially for the process point. It comes packaged well and the instructions are excellent and easy to use. The installation is simple especially with multiple people. The tools and hardware come packaged well. I’ve had bad experience with other brands in the past. The lighting addition could’ve been done better as the length of the light exceeeds the dimensions of the pergola and have to”tuck” it away but that was an extra bonus for me so it wasn’t a deal breaker..
