This is a fabulous addition for a cover on our side porch. It was a challenge to put it together, but We completed the task in a day with just 2 people. After buying canvas topped gazebos in the past, I finally made a decision to get the aluminum patio gazebo. This is the second one we have purchased, one was a gift and we liked it so much we purchased this for us. it’s incredibly sturdy. I was delighted that the roof has 3 hook areas for lighting, plants or wind chimes. The only thing that I would say to the negative is that it took an inordinate amount of time during setup to peel the protective film off the aluminum top pieces perhaps maybe they could do something more with a different protection that could be easily removed but other than that, we love it.. This took two people almost 8 hours to put together. The directions are fairly clear however it is recommended by my son to redo the directions or even three pages ahead before each step. The hardware is not magnetic and with an application like this that is something that is almost necessary. The DD screw heads were mostly faulty and stripped very easily. Time was added to assembly because of the hardware issues. There are three phases, after the first phase it does become easier and quicker. The first phase is the frame. I chose this item for a carport as shown in the photos. It is recommended to use three people although it will not reduce the amount of time that it took to put it together. My son also recommended not to tighten any of the bolts until the end of each phase. The end product is very nice, maybe allowed 2 days to complete it with less frustration.. Stacey. Fort Myers, FL. We are very happy with this gazebo. The wood quality is very good, and the finished product looks beautiful and sturdy in our backyard. Assembly was easier than expected. Two people in the family were able to put it together without hiring outside workers. The instructions were clear, and the parts fit together well. I would recommend wearing gloves during assembly to help avoid scratches or small injuries, and having a ladder will definitely make the process easier. One thing I would suggest is adding an extra coat of wood stain or sealer if you want more protection. I did that for mine because I want it to last longer. Even without it, I think the wood feels durable, but if you live in a humid area or want extra long-term protection, adding a wood sealer is a good idea. One of my favorite things is simply sitting inside the gazebo in the early morning or late afternoon. The shade, fresh air, and peaceful atmosphere make it a perfect place to relax and unwind. Well as much as I love this gazebo I wanted to be transparent on how many pieces this thing actually is. Took about two hours to unbox and unwrap the entire thing. I will say it was thoroughly packages which I really appreciate but every single thing was wrapped individually. We have a previous gazebo from wayfair that was a little smaller in size but took us about 3 hours total to put it together. We are on day 4 and still do not have it up completely. I do love it and how its looking and will post the finished once its all up but I recommend making sure you have enough hands to help or you prepare the prep of opening everything first. I have only had it up for a month, and it hasn't been through any harsh weather. I will report if it becomes an issue. It looks great, and all of our Wayfair furniture fits under it and around our gas firepit. Nice addition. It is a good value. Yes, it is expensive, but the quality is good. Have it up for the second season. Good quality but should be made stronger where poles are attached. Had to put gorilla tape over the tares. update - this past summer it tore so much it has to be replaced. Someone should design these with stronger fabric. Update july 2024. Really impressed with this gazebo overall, especially for the price. It took two of us around eight hours to assemble it. We did have a few issues with the screws becoming stripped very easily, causing us to have to remove a couple of them. Thankfully, it came with a few extra screws that we were able to use.. There were three people putting up the gazebo and it took about five hours. It did fit together very well and instructions are ok. There is a mistake in the manual. There are 8 G1 parts, not 4 which it says on page 10. Also the picture of G1 on page 6 and 10 is incorrect. There are 2 pictures of G1 on page 10 and the other picture is correct. I put the curtains on and we didn’t quite understand how the Velcro tabs should go so that added time. After a few days I took the curtains down as I don’t think we will ever close them. This gazebo was well made and looks great but the instructions were trash! It took us 2 days to put this together. we had to go on YouTube to figure out how to do the rooftop.
