The separate firebox chamber is what makes this a "smoker" - connected to the side of the main chamber, the firebox is a smaller chamber where you burn your charcoal or wood fuel. A small hole connecting the 2 chambers allows heat, smoke, and flavor from inside the firebox to enter the main chamber and indirectly cook your meal to a juicy, smoky, and tender perfection. The main grill chamber features a 254 sq. inch cooking area in addition to a 738 sq. inch surface in the firebox chamber, adding up to over 900 sq. inches of space to indirectly cook your meat, vegetables, and anything else you're serving. However, if you would like to directly grill some or all of your meal, this product doesn't disappoint located in the firebox chamber on an adjustable-height porcelain-coated wire, which is enough to directly cook a lot! As with all grills, this product recommends keeping the firebox clean to help avoid flare-ups as well as using a grill cover to protect your investment.

The ceramic wall has a huge heat storage capacity, which can effectively absorb heat for several hours and keep the temperature between 50-800 degrees! The heavy-duty ceramic structure and egg-shaped design are also conducive to the fuel efficiency of the barbecue. The thick sides conserve heat well, and almost no charcoal and oxygen are needed to continue fueling the fire.

Overall well made. Moderate skill level for assembly, only tool needed was a screw driver and I had acrylic nails on. This bad boy smoked a whole Turkey and it was delicious.
