This was exactly as described. Measurements were great, metal is strong, shelf is useful as are the utensil hooks under the shelf. We chose not to drill into the tile to adhere. Unit is defective from manufacturer. Contractor installed and the hood will not raise up. I know electrical controls pretty well and after doing some troubleshooting the button to raise the hood gets no power from the board and the fuse is in good condition. Hope it gets fixed quickly.. Please measure the gap between the wall and the stove before purchasing. The stove gap filler is designed to fill the following gaps: 30 inches in length, 2-1/4 inches or 1 inch in width. The rear gap-filling kit for sliding stoves is only suitable for sliding stoves without bulky rear baffles. Not suitable for freestanding stoves with bulky backsplashes, nor for granite countertops. Our stainless steel stove gap filler is suitable for a gap of 30 inches in length and 1 inch or 2.2 inches in width between the stove and the wall/cabinet. Two different widths are provided to allow you to fill the gaps more flexibly. According to your needs, choose a splash-proof stove gap cover that is 2-1/4 inches or 1 inch wide.

I didnt even know they made these! But when I got my new range that didnt have a back, I needed something to fill the gap and started to hunt. This works perfectly and was easy to install.
