I originally ordered the k5718 h2 and was discontinued by the time by builder went to order it and this is a disappointing replacement. First the specs indicate is it basically the same model, which misled me into letting builder get it. But it’s not, there not control panel to manage heat and massage flow. Both tubs had the drain in middle and on this model it’s a push down to close type of drain, so has u move around in tub, the drain pops open,,,very very poor design. The high-efficiency 1.1-gallon flush reduces water use by more than 30% over the 1.6-gallon mode, which adds up to potential water savings of more than 4,000 gallons per toilet, per year.

I wanted to try a dual flush, but wanted the lever style (more accessible design than top push buttons, for kids or mobility restriction), so this was one of only a few options. Packed well (no messy styrofoam) and truly ready to put on the bowl. I ordered the matching bowl, but found the mounting dimensions (3 bolts that form an equilateral triangle) to be somewhat standard. Honestly, the tank is prettier than the matching Kohler bowl, but the limited water used in flushing might make this bowl design necessary for an effective flush. This tank is serious business and looks like a machine inside, but it works well and I feel better knowing we are wasting less water. I would compare this tank to a German car; well-made and reliable, but comparatively complicated/expensive to service or repair. When your tub arrives it will be heavy because of the quality of this piece. We had an excellent plumber, and the installation was without complications on any kind. It just slipped into the tile covered build made to house it, and something that is essential and required was the mortar install.
