My three kiddos are super excited about their new bunkbed! It took my husband, son, and I three hours to put it together but the pictures in the directions were straight forward. We did have to take two parts apart and reassemble them as I missed the direction they had to be facing in order to attach pieces in later steps. I put a soft bath math with a grippy bottom at the foot of the ladder and tucked it under the mattresses on either side to prevent direct falls onto the lower bedframes. The storage space on the top bunk is great for storing a good amount of toys and stuffed animals; the storage drawers between the beds on the bottom are nice for smaller items. While time consuming, the bed itself isn't hard to put together. If you have help you'll definitely finish faster. Took me an hour and I'm a woman. Only one flaw; the plugs are positioned in a way that two phone chargers can't be plugged together. One phone charger and my MacBook's plug can't coexist either, could've easily been solved by separating the outlets a tiny bit. Such a small detail that could've made this bed perfect otherwise. First photo, phone charger barely connects (it's lifted). Second photo, phone charged and MacBook charger can't be plugged together, as you can see the MacBook charger is making a false contact (no power).
