- The description for this umbrella states that it is "fully assembled" but it is NOT. (For us older folk, we expected it to be difficult because the parts are quite heavy. It was a bit challenging, but we managed w/out breaking anything including ourselves!) - Also, though we knew all these umbrella bases are quite large, our wheeled one really surprised us. At 3.25ft X 3.25ft x 8" it takes up a chunk of space on our smallish 10' X 10' deck, and looks kind of clunky. - After assembly it's just over 8ft tall plus the 8" base, which is taller than our porch eave. (We thought "height adjustable" included the pole, but it's just the umbrella itself that you can adjust up and down.) So at first we didn't think the umbrella would fit. But we turned it around to face a different direction and think it will work after all.
