I’ve got a fairly long and steep concrete driveway that is starting to show its age a little bit. There has been some minor cracking from the freeze-thaw cycle each winter. I decided to try the Armour SX5000 water-based sealant to see if it would improve the situation. I have delayed writing this review for a bit as I wanted to driveway to go through at least one winter season. I first pressure washed the entire driveway surface which is pretty time consuming. I then applied the Armour sealant with a manual pump sprayer. This part went fairly quickly. The trick is to get the sealant covering the driveway well, but not so much as to create puddles that aren’t absorbed. I made sure there was no rain in the forecast for a couple of days. Initially, I did half of the driveway first and the first day that it rained the difference on the two sides was very noticeable. Water on the coated side was beading and running off and on the other side it was being absorbed into the concrete. My driveway has now gone through two winters and the sealant is still somewhat effective, but I think I will need to coat it again this fall.. Bryan. Halifax, NS. Thu Mar 26 2026

It was a little harder to install since bathroom faucet holes are closer together, but I was able to make it work thankfully. Came at just the right time as our old faucet gave out. I love the round handles! Matte black looks fantastic too. Love the higher arch. My husband and sons are all over 6 feet tall so this comes in very handy for them, they like it a lot! It seems to be very good quality, nice weight. Works great, my only "issue" is that it does not hook to the sink stopper. Thats not a huge issue, I will be installing a pop up stopper instead 😀.
