I think I hit the nail on the head with these Gunnar Mid-Century solid wood dining chairs! These chairs are well constructed, the wood is beautiful and the off-white hand-woven seat is perfect! I really enjoyed (well, honestly, my husband enjoyed) the fact that they did NOT require any assembly! This is a beautiful table and was pretty easy to put together. It is VERY solid and heavy and truly requires two people to assemble. My only issue is that one of the bolts affixing the top to one of the legs will not thread. It doesn’t seem to affect the stability of the table but shouldn’t happen with a 1,200 purchase.. Lisa.
