This took about an hour and 30 minutes to put together. I’d recommend having a second person hold it while you put it together. The door is semi heave when it’s open which can cause it to fall on you while you are putting it together. Definitely recommend anchoring it to the wall as well. It came a little damaged but it was just cosmetic. Once it was put together the door wouldn’t close. I had to mess with the hinges a bit with a screw driver to get it to fix. The upgrade includes a heavy duty internal steel lock cover bolted to the lid with ¼” bolts secured to 3/8” steel welded blocks. This upgrade makes it extremely difficult to punch out the lock from the outside. The interior is lined with thick foam on the top and bottom to secure your firearm while traveling. The top opening case features an easily programmable five push button Simplex mechanical lock that does not require batteries. The Top Draw can accommodate up to two pistols depending on their sizes. It is nicely textured in a semi-gloss black powder coating and accented with a silver V-Line logo and stainless steel faceplate. The Top Draw has predrilled holes in the bottom and can be secured on top of most surfaces with bolts or by using our optional Quick Release mounting bracket (part no. 2912/3912-MB BLK).

This is my first gun safe and I haven’t had any issues with it thus far. I have yet to change the combination, but don’t feel the need to do so at the moment. I may do so in the near future and will repost if I come across any issues. I don’t have any reason to believe that I’d have any issues as the craftsmanship and quality seem to be really good. The safe was packaged very well with no damage during transportation. It took two people to hold and put together. You just screw the screws in the sheet metal. It’s a decent gun safe (cabinet) to lock guns away but not overly heavy duty. It does come with bolts to bolt to the floor which is what we will be doing so it’s not picked up and hauled off. I was genuinely impressed with the packaging. Each piece was individually wrapped and had a metal frame inside the box to prevent damage. Unfortunately it quickly went down hill from there. I received zero instructions so an estimated 20 minute assembly turned into 2 hours. Each of the pieces are held in with just self-tappets while majority of the holes do not line up. Make sure you have a drill/bits because I cant imagine using the provided screw driver to drive the screws into place. I wouldn't trust this to keep my firearms safe at all.
