This animal cage features a metal frame with a wooden ramp and edge barriers. It's a decent cage but came with some screws that were not really ideal for putting it together. Also instructions were a little vague but not too hard to figure out and takes longer than 45 minutes to put together even with 2 people even using a power drill. Also power drill is a must since they only made holes on one side of it to put together. Also, there could of been better attachment pieces for the top and bottom without having to add locks on it. Our hamster cage provide roomy space about 11 square FT for small animal to play and rest, like gerbil, hedgehog, guinea pig, ferret, hamster, etc. Much small space may cause anxiety and depression in hamsters. The inner space is divided into three floors by three ramps, maximize space utilization so that you can place "run wheel" to vent their vigor. Capacity (suggested only) : 4-5 Hamster/Guinea pig.

Measures 47" x 24". Comes with connector pieces. Use as a liner for your DIY guinea pig cage. Works great with the panel cages! Can be easily wiped down and cleaned. Makes less work for you! Cage panels are sold separately. The sides are 6" high when assembled.
