This cart is just the right size for a small “kitchen island” it’s a landing spot when I’m pulling multiple items out of the refrigerator and a good place to set up drinks or plates and utensils when we are entertaining. We installed the wheels instead of the bun feet so we can move it out of the kitchen when needed. I’m using it to store cutting boards, baking pans and containers for leftovers. This cart is functional, pretty, and exactly what I needed for my kitchen space. Solid wood, easy to put together. The instructions were clear, and easy to follow. It lost one star because I only received one cabinet knob, not two, and had to run to the hardware store to purchase replacements to complete the build. The customer service center was closed for the weekend by the time I realized the error, but regardless I wanted it completed, so off I went. Replacement knobs in hand, the rest of the assembly went smoothly. Getting the top placed correctly was a teensy bit tricky, I do wish there had been some indication as to what was the front or back, but I managed to get it done. Very well crafted, solid wood, brightclean white stone top, high quality construction, solid wood. I Really love this. The black is a sharp classic dark tone that pops against the white stone. I assembled it myself, (but could have should have used some help lifting the stone onto the cart. It’s HEAVY.) The counter top came a few days before the rest, well packaged and protected during shipping. The cart was also delivered safely and problem free in a big box. The quality is as it should be for the price point. The reason for a 4-star rating is I have not really started using it but it appears it is going to serve the purpose for which I intended…more counter space, room for my granddaughters to join me in craft-making, and not overly big.. Nice quality piece of furniture. The granite top looks darker online, but like another customer stated, could be just the differences in the natural granite. Mine was more of a light cream colored. I purchased the kitchen island in the European Cherry, and it smells like it was just stained prior to it being shipped. It is beautiful and worth every penny! I am using it as a coffee station. What you don't see in these pictures, because I have this up against a wall, is that there is another set of cabinet doors on the other side so that you can get to the cabinet on either side of this kitchen island. The full-service delivery was exceptional! Very pleasant two young men delivered this piece of furniture without any issues.
