Have already used this to break up the compacted clay layer about 6 inches down in my backyard garden that not even the gas-powered tiller could break. Product is substantial and will clearly last. The unit is larger that I was expecting and that is a good thing because it emits less light than expected. Using a higher wattage bulb does not make much difference it just gets the unit hotter.
