Bamboo slats or split bamboo fences are woven together with black nylon coated wire, as opposed to other split bamboo slat fences in the market that usually tie their fences with bare metal wire exposing unsightly metal and rust. The fence is semi-opaque, which provides some privacy. The unique color of the bamboo slats makes it one of the most gorgeous and striking, looking bamboo fences on the market today. The bamboo slats we use are about 1/2" wide. They are packed in a roll for convenience in shipping and setting up. I had a hard time finding a gold finish to match my existing plumbing’s gold finish from the 1990s, but this was a pretty good match. I would describe this gold tone as a slightly muted gold, softer, not so shiny and yellow as my 1990s existing plumbing. Anyway, it worked for my aesthetic and the functionality is great.
