It comes very well packaged, however there are a lot of pieces and does require some assembly. This is a very large and heavy fixture. The website describes it to be a gold finish, but this is more of a spray paintbrushed brass finish. It looks very cheaply colored and doesn’t go well with the finish of other gold light fixtures. We are just hoping that because we’re hanging it in a room with 20 foot ceilings, you don’t notice the difference in color.
